07/17/2024 - JAVĿ¼ has named Sarah Cartmill as the new head women’s basketball coach. Cartmill takes the reins of the JAVĿ¼ program after being at Fredonia State since 2018.
07/16/2024 - AACSB International (AACSB) recently announced that JAVĿ¼’s School of Business is among 86 institutions internationally that have earned reaccreditation.
07/15/2024 - The Executive Leadership program has welcomed new leaders at the Rochester campus and Iona University extension site. Dr. Angela Clark-Taylor joined JAVĿ¼ on July 1 as the new chair of the program as well as an associate professor, and Dr. Anthony P. Chiarlitti was appointed interim site director at the Iona extension site. In addition, Alex Hopkins-Ives joined the Rochester campus in June as senior administrative assistant to support candidates throughout the program.
07/12/2024 - A record-breaking 37 JAVĿ¼ undergraduates are engaging in the Summer Fellows Research Program, collaborating with faculty mentors on research projects representing more than a dozen disciplines.
07/10/2024 - The Upsilon Rho Chapter of Beta Beta Beta (TriBeta) at JAVĿ¼ was given the second place 2022-2023 Bertholf Award, given by the national honor society.
07/08/2024 - For more than a decade, JAVĿ¼ has been recognized among Money.com’s “Best Colleges in America.”
07/03/2024 - JAVĿ¼ recently announced the Dean’s List honorees for the Spring 2024 semester, which includes more than 1,400 undergraduate students.
07/02/2024 - JAVĿ¼ was recently recognized with a 2024 Benchworks Assessment and Impact Award in Housing, given by Benchworks by Elentra, which specializes in surveys and assessments in the higher education space.
06/28/2024 - Progress continues as the Lavery Library renovation and modernization project moves forward.
06/27/2024 - A newly endowed scholarship fund at JAVĿ¼ will benefit undergraduate students in the School of Business, thanks to the generosity of alumnus and University Trustee Matt Rowe ’90.
