08/16/2023 - The first few weeks on campus are filled with useful advice from parents, professors, and staff members. But, some of the best advice comes from current students who remember well the hectic, nerve-wracking, and exciting experience of being a first-year student. Erin Dickinson ’24 and Sara Casale ’24, two members of the Orientation Team, offer their advice on making the most of your first year at JAVĿ¼.

08/16/2023 - Welcome Weekend 2023 begins with First-Year Move-In Day on Saturday, Sept. 2 and runs through the weekend until Matriculation and the start of classes on Tuesday, Sept. 5.

08/15/2023 - Hannah Gross, a 2023 graduate, was a legal studies major and feels that a JAVĿ¼ education has been an integral part of her success. “Not only have I learned an immense amount in my classes, I have also learned a ton from the people I have met and the experiences I have had. These last four years have been filled with learning and growing as an individual.”

08/15/2023 - This fall, JAVĿ¼’s Family Business Program will host an entrepreneurship and family business symposium focused on employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs), a business ownership model that represents a profound shift in how companies operate, turning employees into owners of the companies for which they work.

08/14/2023 - This summer, 25 JAVĿ¼ undergraduates majoring in 11 different disciplines had the opportunity to conduct original research alongside a faculty mentor through the Summer Fellows Research Program.

08/10/2023 - JAVĿ¼ has partnered with Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Public Communication to offer a 4+1 program, allowing qualified students to earn a bachelor’s and master’s degree in five years.

08/09/2023 - Biology major Conner Bennett ’23 is a member of JAVĿ¼’s Class of 2023. Hailing from Aurora, New York, Bennett began attending JAVĿ¼ considering a career in health care before discovering his passion for laboratory research.

08/08/2023 - Dr. Angela Nagel, associate dean for academic affairs at the Wegmans School of Pharmacy, was recently selected to participate in the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy’s prestigious Academic Leadership Fellows Program (ALFP).

08/04/2023 - JAVĿ¼ was recently recognized among Money.com’s “2023 Best Colleges in America.”

08/01/2023 - JAVĿ¼ recently announced the Dean’s List honorees for the Spring 2023 semester, which includes more than 1,200 undergraduate students.
