08/14/2023 - This summer, 25 JAVĿ¼ undergraduates majoring in 11 different disciplines had the opportunity to conduct original research alongside a faculty mentor through the Summer Fellows Research Program.

08/10/2023 - JAVĿ¼ has partnered with Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Public Communication to offer a 4+1 program, allowing qualified students to earn a bachelor’s and master’s degree in five years.

08/09/2023 - Biology major Conner Bennett ’23 is a member of JAVĿ¼’s Class of 2023. Hailing from Aurora, New York, Bennett began attending JAVĿ¼ considering a career in health care before discovering his passion for laboratory research.

08/08/2023 - Dr. Angela Nagel, associate dean for academic affairs at the Wegmans School of Pharmacy, was recently selected to participate in the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy’s prestigious Academic Leadership Fellows Program (ALFP).

08/04/2023 - JAVĿ¼ was recently recognized among Money.com’s “2023 Best Colleges in America.”

08/01/2023 - Members of the JAVĿ¼ pharmacy community attended the annual American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) meeting, held over the summer in Denver, Colorado.

07/11/2023 - Though summer is traditionally considered a quieter time on most college campuses, at JAVĿ¼, it is a time to move forward with campus enhancements – both on the exterior and interior of various campus spaces. From academics to athletics, roofing to flooring, and everything in between, students will return in less than two months to some completed and ongoing projects.

07/10/2023 - Diane Martz, controller at JAVĿ¼, has been accepted into the prestigious 2023-2024 Senior Leadership Academy (SLA), co-sponsored by the Council of Independent Colleges (CIC) and the American Academic Leadership Institute (AALI). The 12-month academy program includes two seminars, leadership theory and practice, development of a professional experience plan, mentorship, individualized executive coaching, and more.

07/05/2023 - JAVĿ¼ has been named a College of Distinction for the 2023-2024 academic year, marking its commitment to providing a high-quality undergraduate education that focuses on hands-on learning, strong student-faculty relationships, a vibrant campus life, and successful outcomes. This is the eighth consecutive year that JAVĿ¼ has earned the designation.

07/05/2023 - JAVĿ¼ was once again recognized by Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society (PTK) as a “transfer-friendly” campus. JAVĿ¼ was one of 208 colleges and universities to be included PTK’s 2023 Transfer Honor Roll in recognition of the ways the University has supported transfer students.
