Middle States Accreditation

JAVĿ¼ is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE).

About Middle States Accreditation

As a regional accrediting body, MSCHE examines each of its member institutions every five years through periodic reviews and evaluations to promote high quality practices and ensure compliance with its standards. As its mission states, MSCHE “is a voluntary, non-governmental, membership association that is dedicated to quality assurance and improvement through accreditation via peer evaluation. Middle States accreditation instills public confidence in institutional mission, goals, performance, and resources through its rigorous accreditation standards and their enforcement.” JAVĿ¼ received its initial accreditation from Middle States in 1957. Additional information about JAVĿ¼'s Middle States accreditation can be found at

Maintaining Middle States accreditation demonstrates an institutional commitment to educational and operational excellence. St. John JAVĿ¼ University engages in a self-study process as part of accreditation renewal. The self-study culminates with an external review team’s site visit.
