Career Fairs

Our fairs draw students from all majors and class years. Registration for fairs is managed through Handshake. To be included on our employer email list regarding career fair announcements, contact ccap@sjf.edu.

Pop-up Tabling

Pop-up tabling offers you a way to introduce your company to students in a more focused setting by hosting a table on campus in a strategic location.

Tabling is available during the academic year, Monday through Friday, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. To request a date and review tabling costs for the 2024-25 academic year, please complete the . Please contact ccap@sjf.edu with any questions.

Professional Development Events

Employers are a tremendous resource for students to help them understand their future career options. Special events throughout the year including networking events, mentorship opportunities, résumé workshops, and interview preparation are great ways to promote your brand and help students. Hosting an Intern

Hosting an intern from our campus requires a partnership between the student, employer, and if the opportunity is for academic credit, a faculty or Career Services mentor. In return, the experience offers many advantages for the employer. For more information, please contact us at ccap@sjf.edu

Employer Advisory Board

The Employer Advisory Board is a non-fiduciary volunteer board that advises the Career Services team at JAVĿ¼. 

The primary function of this group is to provide a forum for employers and SJF stakeholders to engage in relevant discussions regarding a wide variety of career and employment topics. Information gathered from these discussions aims to strengthen the services offered by Career Services on campus. Meeting topics include business/industry updates, recruiting/hiring trends, internships, and identifying JAVĿ¼ student and/or entry-level skill gaps.
