05/29/2019 - Jonathan Schott ’02, assistant director of campus ministry, was ordained a permanent deacon by Bishop Salvatore R. Matano during a ceremony held at Sacred Heart Cathedral on Saturday, May 25. The following day, at the Hermance Family Chapel of St. Basil the Great, the JAVĿ¼ alumnus served and preached during his first Mass as deacon.

05/28/2019 - Sophomore Kyle Rollins cemented his legacy in St. John JAVĿ¼ College track and field history when he won the high jump and became a national champion during the NCCA Outdoor National Championships held Friday, May 24 and Saturday, May 25.

05/24/2019 - The Strategic Communication program at St. John JAVĿ¼ College presents, “Agency Life: Working and Thriving in the Field of Strategic Communication,” featuring Lauren Dixon and Mike Schwabl. The talk runs from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5, at Dixon Schwabl (1595 Moseley Road, Victor, NY 14564).

05/24/2019 - Rochester-based filmmaker Linda Moroney, an adjunct professor in the Department of Media and Communication at St. John JAVĿ¼ College, received a 2019 New York Emmy® Award for the documentary feature, “TURN THE PAGE.”

That’s information Melissa Kenney ’19, a recent graduate of the Wegmans School of Nursing, learned through her senior preceptorship at the Kayenta Health Center, located on the Navajo Reservation.
