Hosted by the University of Notre Dame, the University of Tampa, and the University of Florida, the Experiential Classroom clinic offers educators transformative opportunities in entrepreneurship and education– especially for those looking to create robust entrepreneurship programs.

“I was one of a select group of delegates at this incredible event where I had the privilege of engaging with experts in higher education entrepreneurship from around the world. It was truly a transformative experience that enriched my knowledge and broadened my horizons,” said Miles.

A graduate of the Education Doctorate in Executive Leadership at JAVĿ¼, Miles joined the School of Business as the entrepreneur-in-residence in fall 2022. During his time at the School, he has become active in guiding the JAVĿ¼ Entrepreneurship Association (FEA), a student organization that provides a platform for students to network with peers.

In addition to advising FEA, Miles serves as an assistant professor of management. He brings his background in nonprofit and for-profit business leadership to the classroom, teaching Introduction to Entrepreneurship and Innovation (undergraduate) and Introduction to Entrepreneurship (MBA).

In line with the School’s commitment to developing “Day 1 Ready” graduates, Miles plans to bring his learnings from the Experiential Classroom clinic back to campus. While there, he explored topics including case studies and business plans, creating more application and consulting opportunities for students in the classroom. The Experiential Classroom clinic also offers a network of faculty to all delegate participants in hopes of creating a stronger entrepreneurial community in higher education.
